SO Delicious Holiday Drink Duo

You’ve just arrived at my house for a holiday brunch! The fire is crackling (YES, even in LA real fireplaces do exist), the sounds of the season are playing and I hand you my Christmas 2012 drink creation. You wrap your hands around the warm mug and let the sweet smell of pumpkin spice overcome your senses before taking a sip. “This is a SO Delicious Pumpkin Spice Cafe au Lait,” I tell you. “Made with pumpkin spice coconut milk which makes it rich, creamy AND dairy free … but you would never know it!”

Ok, seriously friends, this has been my go-to coffee creation since early November. It’s super simple to make and SO Delicious!

SO Delicious Pumpkin Spice Cafe au Lait

    3/4 cup freshly brewed coffee
1/4 cup SO Delicious Pumpkin Spice Coconut Milk, steamed or heated and frothed (seasonal product)
Sprinkle pumpkin pie spice for garnish

Into mug, pour coffee, then steamed SO Delicious Pumpkin Spice Coconut Milk. Give a gentle stir then sprinkle ever so lightly with pumpkin pie spice.
Sip, relish the moment and enjoy this holiday season for all the delicious things it has to offer.

“Oh, you were hoping for a drink with a bit more holiday cheer? The kind that makes your cheeks nice and rosy? Well you’re in luck! I have just the thing. Try my 2012 Christmas cocktail—a SO Delicious Pumpkin Spice Martini with freshly grated nutmeg. Nothing says happy holidays like 1 or 2 of these delicious drinks made with the hottest spirit this season—bourbon!” Enjoy responsibly! 😉

    SO Delicious Pumpkin Spice Martini
    Martini shaker
    1/2 cup ice
    2 oz. Bourbon (I use Maker’s Mark)
1/2 cup SO Delicious Pumpkin Spice Coconut Milk
    Nutmeg, freshly grated if possible

Into martini shaker with ice, add bourbon and SO Delicious Pumpkin Spice Coconut Milk.
Shake it with everything you’ve got, pour into chilled martini glass and garnish top with a light dusting of freshly grated nutmeg.
